2Days Explore Lake Mburo

On this day you will drive from Kampala or Fort Portal to Lake Mburo through Mbarara. Stop at the equator, after which do a boat cruise and a simple game drive.

Meet your guide, be briefed about your 2-day trip to lake Mburo. You will see, on the way, roadside markets, Equator of Uganda, and beautiful farms. It is possible to also have time at Mpambire for royal drum makers. Thereafter we will have lunch and then proceed for our game drive, where we will have the opportunity to see hippos, buffaloes, water birds, crocodiles and antelopes. Later a simple game drive as we return to the lodge – Rwankobo Eagle’s Nest.

On Day Two you will do a morning game drive/safari walks in the park and drive back to Fort Portal, Kampala or Entebbe.

After breakfast start your game drive/safari walk in the park depending on your interests. No lions in this park so it is possible to do a nature walk to the local communities. Many animals have been introduced like the giraffes. A game drive will guarantee you a herd of buffaloes, impala, eland zebras and other mammals. Thereafter you could choose to have lunch on the way and then proceed to Kampala, Fort Portal, Entebbe or your other next destination. End of trip!
